FanGraphs Audio: Dayn Perry, Contagious with Patriotism
Episode 357
Dayn Perry is a contributor to CBS Sports’ Eye on Baseball and the author of three books, now — one of them serviceable and one of them, against all odds, something more than serviceable. He’s also the guest on this edition of FanGraphs Audio.

Carson Cistulli has published a book of aphorisms called Spirited Ejaculations of a New Enthusiast.
Where can one find hot Internet streaming coverage of the poetry reading?
Nice try with the phone lie Carson but it’s obvious that’s not the real Dayn Perry. Frankly it sounds like Mr Cistulli doing an impression of Perry.
The voice almost threw me off this week. It did not sound like Dayne at all. Also, I wish there was a way I could see the video of these two baseball gentlemen recording this podcast (since it’s on Skype and everything).
I believe it is the real Dayn Perry. His southern accent, while still quite subtle, comes across more clearly with the added clarity of skype.
Hi Dayn’s wife!
I was surprised Dayn’s wife was able to control herself around Dayn when she came home. I thought she would try to make a second child immediately upon gazing her eyes on Dayn.
On a serious note I hope your blood test results come back good.
About the blood tests, does anybody know what they’re checking for? I hope Dayne is going to be all right. I really don’t knew what I’d do without this podcast (specifically the press with Perry). I’m not being sarcastic. I think this is an undiscovered gem in the podcast world. Every day that doesn’t have a new Perry podcast, is a day that I’m slightly disappointed.
Damn auto spell.
