I am hoping for this to be received as helpful, constructive criticism…

I’m 17 minutes in and you guys have yet to talk any baseball. It obviously seems to be your intention to have longer off-topic intros and playful digressions, but for me personally this takes away more than it adds. The baseball related content Fangraphs regularly produces is second to none. This is why I come to the site every day. Stand on that content more and less on your personal stuff / random thoughts (which I don’t find particularly entertaining or comedic). It’s a minor gripe, but I originally stopped listening to this podcast because of you and Dave talking about your dogs (and barking in the background) and 30-40% of each episode on random banter. There is a lot of great, exciting stuff happening in baseball right now, and this could be a good platform for you to expand on your written material.

Just my two cents. Maybe I am in the minority with this opinion. In which case, disregard and continue.
