+7 Win sandwich was pretty funny. Add all the food/drink up and it makes for a nice opening day food lineup.

Matt Cain has averaged 4 WAR for 6 years. Other than the standard injury caveats, why wouldn’t he be worth $20 M/season? Corollary: Aren’t we seeing the value of $$$/WAR rising before our very eyes with each new contract that is signed?
I just get so sick of the constant Sabean bashing here. If he doesn’t sign Cain and he ends up with the Dodgers at 6 years $150 M, he’s accused of being cheap. If he does re-sign him, he’s overpaying.
