Why not just answer the questions seriously instead of being such a sarcastic tool?
Because you pay good money for the sarcastic comments. Oh wait, you don’t pay any money at all?
The “it’s free so you can’t complain” is really getting old. If someone makes a whiny or bitchy comment like JT Grace, whatever. Just because it is free doesn’t mean people don’t have the right to complain or criticize.
Snoth is correct. Just because this is a free site doesn’t mean that I don’t have a right to complain.
I just like having my questions answer instead of being ridiculed. If he doesn’t like a question he can just ignore it, there is no need to be condescending.
I’m not any kind of Klaassen slappy (in fact, he’s one of my least favorite FG guys), but I thought most of his schtick here was hilarious. I like Simmons, I read Simmons, but bagging on Simmons for his style is funny.
I have no idea who Simmons is so none of that made any sense to me. I couldn’t even figure out what Klaassen was talking about half of the time. Some of the time he was serious and other times he was being obnoxious.
He is definitely my least favorite of all the fangraphs writers. He reminds me WAY too much of Keith Law. I quit trying to comment in Law’s chats a long time ago so I think I’ll do the same with this clown.
Dave Cameron is my favorite. He seems to stay on topic and doesn’t spend a lot of time commenting on non-baseball questions.
