Read your column today in Boston Globe on the Red Sox and their ability to make improvements for the future.

You do realize, being a statistically-oriented person, that .74 and .80 are LARGER numbers than .138? Perhaps you meant to say that Bradley’s ISO has been .074, and your reference to performances since 1901 was meant to refer to an ISO of .080 or less.

If you’re going to write a numbers/statistics-based column, you need to get the math right.
