: I’m going to go with Springer… if we’re talking about offensive impact. He’s going to have speed and power (but probably a low batting avg) while Lindor will provide most of his value on defense in the early going.

Robert Stephenson is making his first start in AA tonight. He looked great in his last start in the California League. Will you be watching tonight and how long until he could realistically be ready to pitch in the Majors in a rotation.

Universal DH – yay or nay?

Dan Szymborski: I’m that rare person that doesn’t have a strong opinion. I grew up watching both AL and NL games, and I’m not violently for or against the DH like 99% of other people.

Dan Szymborski: But purely on a “does it make sense?” standpoint, with interleague play every day, it makes sense to have a universal DH, given that the scattershot nature of needing a DH prevents NL teams from stashing fill-ins at AAA for the set, planned DH run

Eno Sarris: Salazar coming up on his own limit. Once Cleveland out, he’s out I bet. Also, he’s pitched 105 or so innings, last year he was at like 85. So he could really get shut down whenever.

Think Bogaerts gets the call right before Sept so he can be on the playoff roster or is he just going to get a cup of coffee?

Dave Cameron: Anyone can be on the playoff roster. The injury replacement loophole allows for this every year. But yes, I think Bogaerts will be up sooner than later.
