Regarding Those WAR Figures, A Question the Reader Might Have
A question the reader might have with regard to how only Monday (and not Tuesday) WAR figures are cited above is, “Why is that the case?”

Regarding the Reader’s Question, An Answer to It
The answer to the reader’s question in re Monday, as opposed to Tuesday, WAR figures being cited is this: “Because the author writes the majority of these Notes on the night before the morning after.”

Regarding the Author, Why He Does That
Because he worships at the altar of Leisure, is why, and dedicates the largest part of his morning to Unfettered Repose.

Regarding the Reader, What He or She Is Invited to Do
The reader is invited to remove all the fetters from his or her repose, as well — provided circumstances allow. Or, if not all the fetters, maybe just like a half or quarter of them — provided circumstances continue to allow.

Readers’ Preferred Broadcast
Per the results of our crowdsourcing project from the 2011-2012 offseason, FanGraphs readers prefer Washington Radio (link).

Other Notable Games (Including MLB.TV Free Game)
Kansas City at Baltimore | 19:05 ET ***MLB.TV Free Game***
Ervin Santana starts for the Royals. On account of his most recent start was postponed after four innings, all of the author’s comments regarding him (i.e. Santana) from last Thursday remain entirely relevant.

Readers’ Preferred Broadcast: Baltimore Radio.

Chicago AL at New York NL | 19:10 ET
Apart from the fact that this game features Matt Harvey‘s menacing fastball and menacing slider and menacing changeup, it also gives home audiences the opportunity to view Hector Santiago’s screwball on what is very likely the best slow-motion replay camera (SportsNet New York’s) in baseball.

Readers’ Preferred Broadcast: New York NL Television.

Regarding Tonight’s Featured Game, Who’s Also Not Starting It
The American League leader in pitcher WAR, Anibal Sanchez, and the National league leader in pitcher WPA, Jordan Zimmermann. Indeed, no pitchers will be starting this game because it is going to rain today. And tonight. And possibly forevermore.

Regarding the Commenter, Who, Along with a Group of Friends, Had Bought Tickets to Tonight’s Game
This commenter is not happy with the weather becuase he was very much looking forward to this matchup. His wish, likely not to be fulfilled, is for a true doubleheader on Thursday evening.
