Eric Longenhagen Chat: 6/28

2:07
Eric A Longenhagen: What’s up everyone? Howdy from Arizona, where it is officially ‘Hot AF’ and the AZL is now underway.

2:07
Eric A Longenhagen: Some housekeeping:

2:07
Eric A Longenhagen: We’ll have a July 2 board up tomorrow

2:07
Eric A Longenhagen: Daily Prospect Notes are back and can be found here: We’ll have a July 2 board up tomorrow

2:08
Eric A Longenhagen: Submitted today’s to Carson just moments ago, will link if he gets it up during chat

2:09
Eric A Longenhagen: Also, wrote this for ESPN Insider subscribers: http://insider.espn.com/mlb/insider/story/_/id/23907191/mlb-breakout-m…

2:09
Eric A Longenhagen: Okay, let’s roll…

2:09
Bobopedia: What happened to Garret Mitchell this year?

2:10
Eric A Longenhagen: That’s UCLA freshman OF Garrett Mitchell, who was one of the toolsier high schoolers not to sign with a club when he was drafted in 2017, by Oakland…

2:12
Eric A Longenhagen: He’s still a twitchy plus-plus runner who needs swing work to get to the raw power

2:12
Eric A Longenhagen: He played a bunch, just not all the time, in part because of the upperclass OFs in front of him, including Mike Toglia who is a name to know for the 2019 draft

2:13
Benjamin: Brusdar to High-A!! Does he have the potential, however slim, to be an ace?

2:14
Eric A Longenhagen: I’m always gonna say ‘ace’ is heavy for just about every pitching prospect. It’s like 6-8 guys in the bigs right now that I’d call ‘ace’

2:15
Eric A Longenhagen: But Brusdar is really good

2:15
Eric A Longenhagen: My aces, btw:

2:16
Eric A Longenhagen: Scherzer, Kershaw (still), Sale, Verlander, Kluber, Severino is forcing his way in (it’s ace stuff, certainly) maybe deGrom is too

2:16
Eric A Longenhagen: I’m a miser about it, it’s cool if you’re not.

2:16
Daniel L: What do you think of Jeisson Rosario? Do you think he could make top 100 next year?

2:20
Eric A Longenhagen: He’s up to .270/.390!/.330 at Fort Wayne. I think he has some issues. Not sure how much pop he’s gonna grow into, it’s a smaller frame, some effort level stuff I’ve talked about before (and I’m not a stickler for that stuff, typically) but he also has elite hand-eye and bat control, so he might be special in this one specific, very important way that still makes him very good.

2:20
Eric A Longenhagen: But he’s weird. 50+ FV at the end of the year? Maybe.

2:20
Zock Jr.: Eric, thanks for all the wonderful content you guys have been churning out! What’s the deal with Josh James? I expected to see him on the midseason top 100, but no luck. How come guys like Paddack made such a huge leap, but not James?

2:24
Eric A Longenhagen: So, for background (and I’m gonna start giving more context on these guys in chat before I answer, and I’d love to know how you all feel about that in the comments) James is a 25 y/o JUCO righty at TRiple-A whose stuff has spiked each of the last three years. H’es missing a lot of bats. Velo and breaking ball, when it’s located, are both great. Command and the way the breaking ball plays in the zone are not. Think he ends up in relief. We were too light on him going into the season but if you wanna group him in the 50 FV guys it’d have to bee with the huge stuff/relief risk guy on the list in the Touki/Abreu area, and we just think those guys have better stuff (three pitches or a 7, etc)

2:24
John: Rather have pitcher with 60 curveball 55 slider or 70 curve

2:24
Eric A Longenhagen: Give me the extra pitch

2:25
Navin: Seems to me like Miguel Amaya is breaking out this year. Has he become the Cubs best prospect?

2:27
Eric A Longenhagen: He was already a dude last year (http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/top-22-prospects-chicago-cubs/) so I wouldn’t ‘say he’s breaking out, people are just noticing now because it’s on paper. Tools are still about what they were, maybe er’re all a little more confident in it now that he’s performing. He’s an advanced, 18 y/o everyday catching prospect.

2:27
Jonathon: Is Max Fried a starter or reliever?

2:28
Eric A Longenhagen: I think he’s a reliever. I get why you keep trying to start him (just look at how patience was rewarded with Newcomb) and don’t blame them for doing it, even though I don’t think it’s gonna work.

2:29
thedude: Is Jose Devers legit?

2:30
Eric A Longenhagen: 18/yo SS sent from NYY to MIA in Stanton deal. Hitting an empty .290 in full-season ball. I do, in a sense that I liken him to Andres Gimenez last year. Stays at short, the bat-to-ball skills are great, I don’t care that he might not do a whole lot else because that’s probably enough.

2:30
mark: Do you think Ryan Weathers will sign?  I read an interview with him speaking very highly of the Vanderbilt staff recently

2:33
Eric A Longenhagen: Padres first rounder, 7th overall, advanced HS lefty. Full report on the Board. I think he signs and would view any public-facing comments like that as posturing.

2:33
Eric A Longenhagen: We had SD/Weathers together for a while and have to think $ was discussed at some point.

2:34
Eric A Longenhagen: Also, most guys who don’t sign had something happen with the physical

2:35
Snooker: Why is July 2nd the day for international free agents, as opposed to, say…July 1st? Or January 1st, or literally any other day of the year?

2:36
Eric A Longenhagen: I have no idea. Probably was picked because it made sense as an age-appropriate on ramp for players hitting AZL/GCL at 18? Like, to the month.

2:36
AJ: Is Ronaldo Hernandez a guy who could start popping up on some Top 100 lists?

2:36
Eric A Longenhagen: Rays catcher hitting, for a second straight year, now in full-season. Yes.

2:36
Casey J, Seattle: Hi Eric. enjoy and appreciate these chats.

2:36
Eric A Longenhagen: You’re welcome, Mr. Seattle.

2:37
Adam: What percentage do you think mental game is in a hitting prospects success? Mental toughness, makeup work ethic etc

2:40
Eric A Longenhagen: It’s hard to put a % on something that is, itself, unquantifiable, but there is a component to hitting that has nothing to do with the physical abilities we talk about a lot in prospectdom (hands, bat speed, bat control, etc). I’d call it ‘competence’ and a lot of it is situational, in-games. The ‘make-up’ portion of it is what you do to get better at that stuff and I suppose that’s another part of it. I don’t think you can always see it, even when a guy has it.

2:40
Jake: Hi Eric. I’ve been wondering what a full season of Tony kemp would look like. He seems like he could put up 6-10 HR with 90-100 runs and 20 SB. Is a 300/375/400 line not good enough or do teams knock him because of his height?

2:45
Eric A Longenhagen: I could see how you could think he’s Dee Gordon with a little less glove. Or hey, sometimes guys like this turn into Michael Bourn. I guess because my eval of him, since college, has been ‘he’s nice bench piece or fill-on starter’, and he’s being treated like that, I haven’t blinked

2:46
Robert: Have you had a chance to see Luis Robert.  Any update to how you or others in the industry view him now that  is playing?

2:47
Eric A Longenhagen: Saw him while he was rehabbing in AZ. Physical tools look fine, lower half’s timing did not, but his hands are so electric it might not matter if he doesn’t always crank the lower half right.

2:47
Jeff: How would you handle a prospect who continues to hit, but hasn’t shown great discipline? Jo Adell is crushing the ball and it seems like he’s not being challenged, but he’s also hardly walking and although he isn’t striking out a ton, his K/BB rate is not great.

2:49
Eric A Longenhagen: Sometimes those guys crush it all the way up and sometimes they hit a point where the physical talent alone isn’t enough anymore. It’s painful when that level is MLB, because then the failure is very public and the adjustments are harder to make because you’re often asked to make them back at Triple-A. Byron Buxton was like that. Is like that, I guess. It’s hard to know who the candidates are for this experience, and I don’t think you’re wrong to be looking at the peripherals to identify them. But hey, this is a teenager hitting at Hi-A, right?

2:50
Ethan: Who would say no to a trade of Brad Hand and Hunter Renfroe (or Franchy) for Kyle Tucker?

2:50
Eric A Longenhagen: I don’t do that if I’m Houston.

2:51
Eric A Longenhagen: I have Hands or can make them in player dev, and neither Renfroe or Franchy do it for me, especially when I’ve already got a Tucker.

2:51
Sergey: Does Oneil Cruz have a future at short?

2:52
Eric A Longenhagen: That’s 6-foot-8 (in spikes) PIT SS who was in the Watson deal with LAD last year. It’s crazy, but someone told me they thought he’d stay there last week. I think it’s RF. That;s kind of his range of outcomes.

2:52
Adele: Jo Adell’s arm is a 6 when healthy. But what was it the last time you saw him in person?

2:53
Eric A Longenhagen: 5, but a source saw a 6 since then, at least flashing 6

2:53
Veeno: Has the scouting report on Freddy Peralta changed at all now that it looks like his fastball, despite its velocity, is a big-league out pitch?

2:55
Eric A Longenhagen: Not really. Love Freddy, but still think the command is going to be an issue. Also, remember a large part of what makes him effective is the unique release point, which at some point will start to yield diminishing returns as it gets seen. Still think he’ll be good, but as more of a 1.5 to 2 WAR

2:55
Fangraphs reader: If spin rates were unquantifiable, which prospect would see his stock change the most? How much would it change?

2:56
Eric A Longenhagen: We don’t have a trackman readout on every minor leaguer, so that’s hard to say. We pick up nuggets on individuals here and there.

2:56
Tommy Boy: Would a Brad Hand for Alex Verdugo trade be good for both teams?  Or Brad Hand for Mejia?

2:56
Eric A Longenhagen: I’d be more comfortable with the first deal than the second, as the team acquiring Hand.

2:56
Steve Motivator: Hi Eric. I’m curious how you feel about Mike Tauchman and LaMonte Wade becoming legitimate contributors to their respective organizations. With a decent sample size now in place, who are some of the other outfielders you see flying under the radar that are deserving of attention? Thanks!

2:58
Eric A Longenhagen: I’m on Wade, skeptical of Tauchman. But also have less notes on Tauchman (who is 27 and in a crazy hitting environment) than I do on Wade (who is 24 and who I’ve got in-person history with dating back to college) so my error bar is bigger there

2:59
Donald: Regarding Carter Stewart, should Braves’ fans be concerned that he might not sign?

3:02
Eric A Longenhagen: I wanna say they shouldn’t be concerned, but a lot of prep arms (Beede, Singer, Bickford, etc) didn’t sign when Anthopoulos  was in Toronto and no other team has a track record of not singing players like he did there. I dug how aggressive their draft strategy was at that time and the system is different now, which could change how his teams operate, but it was definitely a thing.

3:02
Tom: With Paddack returning to form, what would you put his FV at?  I noticed in the recent 131 that he’s ahead of Baez (55) and Espinosa (50), but he’s still listed as a 45.

3:03
Eric A Longenhagen: He’s a 50, as is Baez now, as shown on the 131 https://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/the-updated-top-131-prospect-rankings/

3:03
Eric A Longenhagen: We need to updated the team lists, which we’ll be doing between July 2 and the deadline

3:03
TJ: What would happen if a Madrigal or Larnarch tore their rotator cuff in one of these WS games? Would they still sign for the verbally agreed price?

3:03
Eric A Longenhagen: Probably not, which would suck.

3:04
G Money: Khalil Lee just promoted to AA on his 20th birthday.  Power’s been a little light so far, but big-time Royals prospects have traditionally struggled at the Wilmington affiliate.  Is his stock trending upward or is there too much tweener in the profile for to you get super excited at this point?

3:06
Eric A Longenhagen: Royals RF prospect Khalil Lee, now at Double-A. Agree that Wilmington dilutes the power. Don’t think Lee stays in CF, see him in RF, but think the power and OBP will be enough to profile everyday. I think he’s KC’s most stable prospect and, if that’s your thing, you could call him the system’s bets guy. I think Seuly and Melendez have more ceiling.

3:06
Fangraphs reader: Do teams approach spreading of playing time in complex leagues different  than in other leagues?

3:06
Eric A Longenhagen: Yes, you see more time-sharing, and given the significant increase in schedule intensity from HS/College to pro ball, I think it’s good.

3:07
Brian: Having recently seen Yadier Alvarez, do you think he has or can develop enough command/control to become a dependable starting pitcher?

3:08
Eric A Longenhagen: Ahhh, I hesitate to say ‘dependable’ but ‘viable’? Yeah, I still think he has a shot. I’ve lead the Yadi parade for a while and I realize it’s kind of dour right now and we’ve run out of tootsie rolls to throw, but I’m still on him. The stuff is very good.

3:09
Georgie: Do you see any reason Jesus Sanchez should still be in Port Charlotte? I thought he would’ve been promoted awhile ago.

3:10
Eric A Longenhagen: Tooled-up Rays OF prospect, hitting at Hi-A. Maybe there’s an org desire to see more patience? He’s walking at a 2% clip.

3:10
Mr. Nor’easter: Do you think this recent surge by Ketel Marte is more than a hot streak? Does he present meaningful upside ROS?

3:12
Eric A Longenhagen: I think athletes like that should be given more time and am more likely to buy into performance from those guys than I am one-year blips from below avg athletes like Aledmys Diaz. Think the power on contact will continue, the rest could be streaky, which is fine on the MIF.

3:12
Wes: If an expansion draft were held this winter, who would be the first selection? Assuming same rules at 97 and 92.

3:14
Eric A Longenhagen: Still McGriff

3:14
Eric A Longenhagen: No, this is actually a great question and probably deserves an entire article

3:14
Eric A Longenhagen: I think the first pick would be traded for a prospect, whoever it is

3:15
Eric A Longenhagen: I’m gonna post the expansion draft rules (from wikipedia, so caveat drafteur) real quick so we can all think about this…

3:18
Eric A Longenhagen: Procedures
Similar to the 1992 expansion draft, both expansion (Rays/Dbacks) teams selected 35 players. The draft was divided into three rounds. Each team would select 14 players in round 1, 14 players in round 2, and 7 players in round 3. Tampa Bay general manager Chuck LaMar and Arizona general manager Joe Garagiola, Jr. oversaw their teams’ selections.

The Devil Rays and Diamondbacks could pick any player not on the protected lists of the 28 other teams, although no team could lose more than one player in a given round.

3:18
Eric A Longenhagen: For the first round, teams may protect 15 players from the rosters of their entire organization—both their 40-man roster, plus all minor league affiliates.
In addition, players chosen in the last two amateur drafts were automatically protected, plus players who were 18 or younger when drafted and signed in 2015. These players are listed as notable exemptions. Note: This does not include international signings, in this edition.
Players who are free agents after the end of the 2017 season need not be protected.

3:19
Eric A Longenhagen: There’s no way to have a quick answer to it, but it’s a fun question.

3:19
Brandon: Do the Mariners have a talent for developing/finding 45 RPs? Latest guy that looks useful is David McKay now in AAA, but they have like 2 of these poppers at every level now. Do they just invest more in guys like this because they’re useful trade bait for Dipoto, or is this a real skill?

3:20
Eric A Longenhagen: I think it’s a combination of effectively targetting guys who are that, to varying degrees of big league readiness) in the draft and via trade and also focus on them because the farm system doesn’t have a whole lot else going on.

3:21
Schoop of Ice Cream: Jeff published his top hitting prospects yesterday, surprised to see Bichette above guys like Acuna and Soto. What do you make of that?

3:22
Eric A Longenhagen: I’d say it’s important to note Jeff was writing from a fantasy baseball viewpoint

3:22
Bear: How much emphasis do you put on extreme tools in the prospect world? Hunter Wood, for example, had the largest vertical difference in the league between his fastball and curveball. Does doing something no one else does change your evaluation in any way?

3:23
Eric A Longenhagen: It does, especially when you’re forced to use heuristics a lot when you’re a pair of dudes covering all the prospects on Earth. When someone breaks a mold, it’s good to know who they are.

3:23
Bo: The Braves seem inclined to trade Gohara… Would he alone be enough to pry Moustakas?

3:25
Eric A Longenhagen: I bet teams are salivating to buy low on a guy with one of the best lefty heaters in the bigs. Don’t buy that ATL is dying to move that guy right now.

3:25
Mike: Royce lewis, alex kirilloff, brusdar have to be one of the best low minors prospect trios, right?

3:25
Eric A Longenhagen: Yes

3:25
Nick: I saw in your ESPN piece that you weren’t sold on Jalen Miller yet. What do you think about some of the other Giants prospects like Heyward, Howard, and Quinn?

3:26
Eric A Longenhagen: Jacob Heyward (Jason’s bro, power, corner, K’s) late-blooming lotto ticket, probably not
Ryan Howard (SS in upper minors) yes, as a utility ugy
Quinn: Basically the same as Heyward, less twitchy, more raw power

3:26
ya boy: Mountcastle’s walk rate seems to be climbing in a small sample so far.  How would that being sustainable affect his profile?

3:26
Eric A Longenhagen: Indeed

3:26
Benjamin: Taylor Trammell is ________

3:27
Eric A Longenhagen: Brandon Nimmo

3:27
Evan: Why has Diego Rincones not appeared on any prospect lists? He seems to perform well at a young age at every level he’s been at

3:27
Eric A Longenhagen: 5-9 corner guy with 4 raw, not adding any.

3:28
Go A’s!: Better long term:  Loaisiga or Bieber?

3:28
Eric A Longenhagen: Bieber. Lo has the better peak, though

3:29
Moltar: is the Mets’ player development as bad as it seems from the outside? Media reports on that front have not been glowing, basically describing it as a disorganized mess with no communication or consistency between any levels, leaving it to the major league staff to do basic instruction

3:30
Eric A Longenhagen: I think there are issues, yes. Especially with player dev and the way the pro department covers ground (as in, not enough) but also think the amateur side, especially internationally, has done a great job. It’s a mix, like with most orgs.

3:31
Eric A Longenhagen: Just a very public, easy to compare to the dominant Yankees, mix

3:31
Just a question : A couple weeks ago you mentioned Kevin Kramer as a prospect who has improved his FV. Certainly his production has jumped the last month. What are some of the scouting stuff that is driving your opinion? Is he a 2-3 WAR go at this point?

3:32
Eric A Longenhagen: Swing changer. Clearly had more lift last fall than he had previously and it was working for him. Might have enough hit/power combo now to profile at 2B/3B as something more than just a bench bat.

3:33
Your boy: What do you have on Ryan McKenna? What’s his upside?

3:34
Eric A Longenhagen: Another swing changer (Baltimore) with a new leg kick since last I saw him. BABIP is so sky high that he’s going to regress and defensively he’s kind of a tweener, but this is much better.

3:35
…..: Any other big name besides Luciano that are connected to the Giants?

3:35
Eric A Longenhagen: Jairo Pomares, Cuban CF, 800k or so

3:35
Eric A Longenhagen: so maybe not ‘big’

3:35
Eric A Longenhagen: but big enough that we know who he is

3:36
Jonathan: Hans Crouse surprised me last night with his changeup.  If we end up seeing a viable third pitch for the rest of the year and not just one game, how much safer is the profile in your opinion?  Is command still the bigger hurdle?

3:36
Eric A Longenhagen: Still think the delivery and command are prohibitive as far as starting is concerned

3:36
Mike: From your writeup of Colin Poche – to what extent can an elite swinging strike rate be luck? What could he be doing that you wouldn’t be able to identify from scouting, and is there any reason to think it wouldn’t happen in the majors if it’s happening in AAA?

3:39
Eric A Longenhagen: Wouldn’t say ‘luck’ but could say it’s a result of a minor league hitting talent simply not being as good at dealing with whatever specific thing Poche does.

3:39
Eric A Longenhagen: But his performance is so extreme that I have to think he’ll be something

3:40
Greg: Austin Riley is striking out 30% of the time this year. Why does he keep moving up prospect lists?

3:41
Eric A Longenhagen: Dude, Aaron Judge is striking out 30% of the time. Riley does a lot of other stuff. I was skeptical too, but he gets to the pop and he’s okay at third.

3:41
john cale: any notes on hans crouse from last night?

3:41
Eric A Longenhagen: He’s actually in the Daily Notes.

3:42
Eric A Longenhagen: Which is schedule for 1600 ET

3:42
Mike: Have you had a chance to see Adley Rutschman?  The improvement he’s shown in his second year of college baseball (and first focusing solely on baseball) has been incredible.

3:43
Eric A Longenhagen: Oregon St Catcher. Yes. Kiley saw him in the fall, I saw him this spring. Swing is more athletic, has feel for all fields contact, there’s power on contact. He does a lot, both sides of the ball.

3:44
Bernie: Who would you rather have, age/contract included, Jesus Aguilar or Jose Martinez

3:45
Eric A Longenhagen: Before the season I would have said Martinez, now I don’t know.

3:45
Mike: Dodgers prospect Dean Kremer has a breaking out season and amaging record of 37.2% K%, 13.50 k/9. What’s happen to him. A rise of velocity? I wonder his stuff, control….

3:45
Eric A Longenhagen: 92-96, 55 curve, four pitches, probable reliever

3:45
Rojas: Uh, where exactly is Morgan Cooper?

3:46
Eric A Longenhagen: Good question, I shall ask.

3:46
PM: Where is the best place to get historical MiLB data? Fangraphs only has dating back to 2006

3:46
Eric A Longenhagen: Did anything happen before that date? I’m a young farm creationist. Jugs guns never existed.

3:47
vft: Have people been paying attention to the wrong Phillies pitcher?

3:48
Eric A Longenhagen: Are you prospect monogamous?

3:48
Eric A Longenhagen: You should hop in the freak pool and take diligent notes on all of them.

3:48
Jonathan: How close is Luis Patino to forcing his way into your 45 FV tier?

3:49
Eric A Longenhagen: End of year if he keeps tracking like this, easily

3:49
Dan: Micah Bello is off to a hot start in the AZL. Have you heard any reports or had a chance to see him yet?

3:49
Eric A Longenhagen: Not yet. Brewers AZL stuff is gonna be weird this year.

3:50
Eric A Longenhagen: Note the funky start time: http://www.milb.com/scoreboard/index.jsp?sid=milb&lid=121

3:51
Eric A Longenhagen: That’s for all home games. And they’re not in the stadium anymore because of construction. So I’ll be stopping in there for innings 7-9 a lot on the way home from other games.

3:51
Billy Beane: Have you heard any reports on Lazarito’s defense? I’m a touch concerned that having to play LF to accommodate Beck is going to limit his shot to stick in CF.

3:51
Eric A Longenhagen: MIght be LF just because of the arm anyway

3:51
Sammy: You mentioned you were going to keep an eye on Amed Rosario after the NYM/ARZ series. What did you see?

3:52
Eric A Longenhagen: A guy getting eaten alive on the inner half

3:52
Eric A Longenhagen: who is also a 7 runner and 6 defender at short

3:52
Eric A Longenhagen: with 6 raw power

3:52
Eric A Longenhagen: so…

3:52
greg: Is Hendrik Clementina a prospect?

3:52
Eric A Longenhagen: Yes but I don’t think he’s a very good one

3:53
tacopocket: EL……love the idea about you giving a quick snippet about guys that are asked about in this chat.  Thanks.

3:53
Eric A Longenhagen: (thumbs up)

3:53
AC: Will you guys ever post anything around ratings/rankings of each MLB teams’ ability to develop players? Or does that change too much?

3:53
Eric A Longenhagen: Changes a lot and the individual players vary too much to have a great feel for every team, though I think some teams are clearly at the front and back of the pack

3:54
Bob: MadBum isn’t an ace?

3:55
Eric A Longenhagen: Two years of injuries, can’t do it. Kershaw’s got one foot out the door at this point based on the same primciple, if that makes you feel better.

3:55
Rick: Have you heard when/if Chris Rodriguez (Angels) is going to be back to game action?

3:56
Eric A Longenhagen: Think he’s toast for the year. Was in the 100-125 overall range on our offseason list, three plus pitches, violent delivery. Has a stress fracture in his back.

3:56
Greg: Forget whether Fried is a reliever or starter — is he even good? Can you clarify his ranking for me? He has gotten crushed at basically every level except when he was really old at Low A.

3:58
Eric A Longenhagen: He’s a 50 for me based on him winding up in the bullpen and letting the FB/CRV combo rip for 4-6 outs at a time.

3:58
Matt: What approach would you take with respect to J2 international free agents?  Blow your entire bonus on the top few guys or spread it out across a larger number of second or third tier guys?  Or maybe do your best to trade for additional slot money?

3:59
Eric A Longenhagen: I’d spread it out, prioritizing guys with frames, athletic grace.

3:59
happyNOLAday: Will Nick Madrigal’s contact skills translate to more power?

3:59
Eric A Longenhagen: I believe so

4:00
Tori Lopardo: Which of the starters in the Phillies org would make the most impact/sense being moved to the pen? Kilome? Llovera? Romero?

4:01
Eric A Longenhagen: Kilome (FB/CR guy at AA with 40 control) and Mau Llovera (frog-like 5-10 215lb righty up to 87 in HiA) are the guys. Still like Jojo Romero (athletic lefty, velo down early this year, pitching better now, plus change, pitchability) in a rotation

4:01
Eric A Longenhagen: Suarez, too

4:02
Tommy: Anything to suggest that Pablo Lopez is more than a back end starter?

4:02
Eric A Longenhagen: Yes, MIA player dev has roots from NYY player dev…

4:02
Eric A Longenhagen: MIA righty from Seattle in Gordon trade. 90-95, command, 50.55 secondaries

4:02
Wes: More detail is great, helps me tie the more obscure players to their org.

4:03
YKnotDisco?!: Where does Lebron sign? (other than the dotted line)

4:03
