Dave Cameron: Or pre-ACL reconstruction day for me. This is my last day with mobility for a while.
12:02
Dave Cameron: So let’s talk about players whose knees aren’t about to get cut open.

Blah: Dave, The baseballs are juiced/changed right? I don’t think there is even a debate anymore.
12:02
Dave Cameron: There’s definitely still a debate. There’s circumstantial evidence that suggests the ball is different now, but it isn’t a fair reading of the evidence to suggest we’ve removed all doubt.
12:03
Dave Cameron: I think the ball probably is different. It makes the most sense. But we don’t *know*.
Dave Cameron: With the draft almost in the rear view mirror, the summer trade season is about to get started.
12:02
Dave Cameron: Should be an interesting six weeks leading up to the deadline.
12:02
ChiSox: Do you see STL, PIT, MIL going for it at the deadline?
12:02
Dave Cameron: STL yes, PIT and MIL no.

Grate: How does draft pick compensation work now? Do you think the Reds would be better off trading Cozart or getting compensation for losing him this offseason?
Keith Law will unfortunately not be able to join Eric tonight, as previously announced. Chris Mitchell will be replacing him as Eric’s co-host.
Tonight, the MLB draft begins at 7 pm eastern. Lead prospect analyst Eric Longenhagen will be covering the first round as it happens, via Google Hangout, and he’ll also be joined by Chris Mitchell. Together, they’ll discuss the first 27 picks, and when possible, take questions from you guys as well.
To help facilitate the conversation, we’re going to have a Jotcast queue open for you guys to submit questions, and they’ll pick from that queue and answer them as they can. As they’ll be answering the questions on video, this isn’t a traditional chat, but they’ll hopefully have time to answer some of your queries in between selections.
Bookmark this post for your live draft coverage with Eric and Keith tonight, and we’ll have the Google Hangout embedded in this post when they go live right before the draft begins.
