: I am here. I am sure Jeff Sullivan will be here soon. Game time is moved up to 7pm CT. Let’s get the questions going.
| 4:53 |
:
Who are you rooting for tonight?
Chicago (56.1% | 178 votes)
Cleveland (43.8% | 139 votes)
Total Votes: 317
| 4:54 |
: my dad surprised me by stopping by to watch the game tonight. born in 1948. maybe a sign….
| 4:57 |
: Rain looks like it will be a factor tonight
| 4:57 |
: Be glad it isn’t in Chicago. Been pretty miserable all day.
| 4:58 |
: Does Maddon pull a double switch when Lester comes in to put Ross behind the plate and keep Contreras in the game?
| 12:01 |
: Happy Game 7 Day, everyone.
| 12:02 |
: Obviously, most of today’s questions will be about the game tonight. We’ll do some offseason stuff too if you want, but tonight should be fun, so let’s focus mostly on that.
| 12:02 |
: What happens to Kluber’s numbers on multiples of short rest?
| 12:04 |
: No one really knows for sure. What we can infer from regular bullpen usage is that days of rest impact endurance the most, not necessarily short-term performance. So I think Cleveland can be comfortable getting 3-4 innings from Kluber, essentially treating him as a Miller-esque reliever. Beyond that, I wouldn’t push it.
| 12:04 |
: Who wins tonight?
| 12:05 |
: Gut says Cleveland. Kluber/Miller/Allen can handle the whole game. They have home field. The Cubs are going to have some easy outs in their line-up, especially with Ross catching most of the game. And their pitching just isn’t set up as well.
| 8:02 |
: Welcome to the Game 6 live blog!
| 8:02 |
: Eno Sarris and I will be your hosts tonight.

: November baseball chat!
| 11:56 |
: cool thing
| 11:57 |
: chat soundtrack is Anthony Rizzo’s walkup music, which isn’t the kind of thing I’d typically listen to but has been stuck in my head since Game 3 and is awesome when played loud in Wrigley
| 11:57 |
: same with this, which they sometimes play between innings
| 12:06 |
: ok, let’s do it
| 12:06 |
: Lester available out of the bullpen. True or False: He can only enter the game at the start of an inning or when nobody is on base.
| 2:03 |
: Good morning from Scottsdale Stadium where I’m getting one last look at the Padres Fall Leaguers before I write them up as part of the SD list.
| 2:03 |
: Giants went live today, that’s here: http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/prospect-reports-san-francisco-giants/
| 2:04 |
: Please take two questions a piece so the kids who get here late can still have some.
| 2:04 |
: Okay, let’s begin.
| 2:05 |
: Has Eloy Jimenez’s performance in the AFL changed your opinion of him at all? He’s been OK, but an AFL assignment was aggressive for him given age/experience, is that right?
| 2:05 |
: He looks great, no change of opinion. Monster raw power, probably a little tired right now.
| 7:57 |
: This has begun! This largely one-sided conversation has begun!
| 7:58 |
: And Eric Longenhagen, who’s far more likable, will arrive soon.
| 7:58 |
: I’m totally here.
| 7:59 |
: And ready to appear likable.
| 7:59 |
: Over/under 12.5 outs for Bauer tonight?
| 8:00 |
: I’d guess over. Francona will likely be a bu more patient tonight, is my idle speculation.
| 4:52 |
: oh it’s just a
| 7:31 |
: Properly this time:
| 7:32 |
: That’s my musical contribution for the evening. Let’s get this party started!
| 8:01 |
: Eno, this music is terrible.
| 8:01 |
: Oh I know. I’m sorry. It was a funny.
| 8:02 |
: hey eno, i’m in bells and founders land but stone from San Diego or whatever just recently started being carried by several places here. what should i look for?
| 9:03 |
: Hello friends
| 9:03 |
: Let’s Friday baseball chat!
| 9:03 |
: Hello, friend!
| 9:03 |
: Hello friend
| 9:03 |
: Weather forecast tonight is for 30-40 mph gusts blowing out to left. Which team does that favor more, and why?
| 9:04 |
: So, yeah, this is expected to be a huge variable going in. Crazy wind blowing out, for two somewhat contact-oriented pitchers
