Dave Cameron: Happy Game 7 Day everyone!

Dave Cameron: Should be a fun night.

Dave Cameron: I’m on live blog duty tonight, so come back and join me as we watch two great teams fight it out for the title tonight.

Dave Cameron: We’ll start this chat in a few minutes.

Charlie Morton: When am I pitching tonight?

Dave Cameron: Let’s say McCullers goes 4-5. Keuchel is probably first guy out of the pen, and he’s probably good for 2. That leaves 2-3 innings for some combo of Morton, Peacock, and Verlander, my guess. Peacock is probably the “closer”, so maybe Morton gets the 7th?

AdamZ: Happy Halloween!

Hannah Hochevar: Happy Halloween!

Jeff Sullivan: Happy Halloween. I just remembered to turn our porch light off so nobody tries to interrupt my World Series viewing with handout requests

botchatheny: this is gonna be a real corker eh

Eric A Longenhagen: Good morning, folks. Lots to squeeze in on my end today (I think I get Taylor Hearn and Tyler Beede in Scottsdale today) so we’ll probably hold tight to an hour. Let’s begin

Philip: Do you prefer austin Allen to Josh Naylor?

Eric A Longenhagen: Nope

Evan Longoria : Do you know much about Ronaldo Hernandez?

Eric A Longenhagen: Strong 19-year old Colombian catcher in Tampa’s system. Has power, catching is a work-in-progress but that’s fine because he’s a converted infielder. He made Rays list last offseason.

Chris: How good will Florial, Abreu, and Estrada be?

Paul Swydan: Hi everybody!

Paul Swydan: Looking forward to a great game. Looks like most of you think the Dodgers win tonight.

Craig Edwards: I’ll be back in a few minutes, but feel free to get the queue going.

legeisc: What’s the O/U for innings for Darvish and McCullers? 4.2 for both?

Craig Edwards: I think that’s right, but we will see if either manager is a bit more conservative knowing there are three games in three days here in Houston.

Craig Edwards:

This is lude-icris: I’m functioning on very little sleep but hey I can catch up in the off-season

Craig Edwards: hibernate in january or february. you don’t want to miss any of that hot stove action.

Jeff Sullivan: Welcome to Friday baseball chat

Kiermaier’s Piercing Green Eyes: Longoria gets 10-5 rights next season. Does he get traded before then?

Jeff Sullivan: I don’t know why he would. This being Tampa Bay, obviously there’s always the chance, but Longoria feels like a forever Ray

Ray Liotta as Shoeless Joe: What does Hensley Meulens need to do to get hired as a manager in one of the three current vacancies? I’d love him with the Nationals (though current front-runner Dave Martinez *feels* like a good fit as well).

Jeff Sullivan: This comment expresses a stronger feeling about a possible managerial candidate than I could personally ever imagine possessing

Dave Cameron: Happy Wednesday, everyone.

Dave Cameron: Travis and I will be live blogging Game 2 tonight, so it’s a chatting kind of day for me.

Dave Cameron: Plenty of WS stuff to talk about, but we’ll also do some off-season stuff if you’re a fan of one of the other 28 teams that just wants the hot stove season to get here already.

Not Jeff Luhnow: The Astros have looked lost at the plate for the majority of this postseason.  I know Kershaw is a great pitcher, but how much of last night was him pitching well vs. the Astros not having a good plan and letting a lot of hittable pitches go.

Dave Cameron: It’s impossible to know, obviously, but it did seem like Houston just wasn’t seeing the ball very well most of the night. They complained repeatedly about clear strikes, Reddick especially. I wonder if they weren’t use to the Dodgers Stadium batters eye or something.

Josh R: My favorite nugget of the post season: The Dodger bullpen has given up the fewest runs of any team this post season, including the Rockies and Twins one game.

Eno Sarris: Crazy ass fireworks headed straight for the planes I about ducked like on a foul ball straight back to the plate.

Jeff Sullivan: Hello Eno!
